We have been involved in Farm Tourism on Omania for the last fifteen years. As Omania is located ten minutes from the centre of Rotorua, a tourist destination in NZ, tourism is a logical choice for one of the farm activities. We enjoy meeting and hosting people from around the world and welcome the opportunity to showcase NZ agriculture and its products. We offer customized farm tours and work closely with the client, whether it be independent visitors, Industry Groups or Farm Tourism Operators.
Our farm tours which are enjoyable and informative include practical demonstrations of dogs working the animals, sheep shearing, and technical information on current farm

practices in New Zealand. We offer an authentic rural experience with an insight into the life of a rural New Zealand farming family.
Morning or Afternoon Tea and/or Lunches can be provided. Lunch options can either be a packed picnic lunch up in the serene native bush surroundings of the hut or in the family homestead.

Omania has been used as the location for filming various overseas TV productions. We have a lot of fun meeting and working with these people.
